Amore Italian Restaurant
About This Spot
Walking into Amore Italian Restaurant feels like stepping into a quiet corner of Italy tucked away in Brandon. It’s an intimate, warmly lit space where the pace slows just enough for you to settle into the comfort of a well-loved neighborhood spot. Soft conversation hums around tables, mingling with the subtle aromas of fresh herbs and simmering sauces, inviting you to lean back and savor the moment.
Here, the meal unfolds like a thoughtful conversation, each bite reflecting care and tradition. The fresh, tender pasta pairs naturally with sauces that rarely shout but balance perfectly, revealing layers of nuance. From the first glance of warm, crusty bread served alongside olive oil to the tender pull of baked dishes bubbling with melted cheese and savory fillings, Amore offers a quietly confident celebration of Italian cooking — unpretentious yet deeply satisfying.
It’s not just the food that lingers in memory but the feeling that you’re welcomed like family. Attentive without intrusion, the service encourages you to relax and truly enjoy your company and surroundings. The desserts, with their gentle sweetness and familiar textures, provide the kind of finish that inspires plans for a return visit rather than a rushed goodbye.
In a town where dining out often feels like a brief pause in a rush, Amore creates a space for slower rhythms and genuine enjoyment. It’s the kind of place where friends and families gather without fuss, where the focus gently drifts to shared plates, laughter, and what comfort tastes like when it’s made just right.

Very pleasantly surprised, not a big place, but an awesome meal. Even the bread was wonderful, my wife had the baked ziti, and I had the Chicken Martini which was one of the posted specials. The service was fantastic, they treated us like family. The dessert we had was the limoncello cake and it was a great way to end our meal. It was our first time there, but we will be back. We made our second visit, I, my wife, and my daughter. Once again, it was awesome. Our server was Sarah, she’s absolutely one of the very best servers that I have ever been around, and I spent 42 years in the food and beverage industry. She makes us feel as if we are truly guests. My wife had the manicotti, I had the tour of Italy, and my daughter had the Alfredo. All of the meals were very good. For dessert we shared the tiramisu and the chocolate cake, both were rich and tasty. We hope to visit again soon.

We had the most delightful lunch and Sarah was fabulous! The food was out of this world and the atmosphere was the best. The homemade bread rolls were soft and served with olive oil. We had fresh vegetables that were that were cooked perfectly still with a crunch. Lets not forget the pasta!! Sarah had us finish off our meal with Tiramisu, the best I've ever had. If you have never been to Amore Italian Restaurant you are really missing out on the true taste of Italy!.

I was impressed! The burrata appetizer & ravioli (which I usually don't like) was incredible . I got the Lobster ravioli but asked if I could have the cream truffle sauce that comes on the portebello ravioli instead . They were more than happy to do it & it was the star of the show. Best ravioli I've ever had! My friend had the seafood pasta & while I wasn't a fan of the sauce bc I don't like hot sauce in my pasta sauce, she loved it. Our server was amazing & took great care of us. We will def be back & highly recommend this place.

Me and my husband went to Amore for the first time tonight and we had the best time. The bread reminded me of an Italian place we have gone to in Hattiesburg before. They were all super friendly and the prices were lower than other places nearby and there was no wait and it was quiet and very laid back. We started with the fried ravioli I had the pasta sampler and my husband had the tour of Italy and everything was delicious.

The pasta is fresh and delicious, the tomato sauce is perfectly balanced, the mozzarella is high quality, the desserts are excellent, particularly the limoncello cake. The service is excellent, with attentive and knowledgeable staff. But, and I can’t stress this enough, the BREAD is possibly the best thing there. I don’t know that I’ve ever eaten better bread. I know I won’t be able to eat much of my meal, but I don’t care. I know I look a little piggish as I scarf down 3-4 knots without even considering the others at my table, but I DONT CARE! It’s that good. They could charge whatever they wanted for it and I would pay. Don’t get it wrong, everything is really good, just the bread is on another level.

Had dinner with a friend for my birthday. First time for us both as we wanted to try somewhere new. Let me say, it was excellent! Food was fresh, bread to die for, great service and lovely atmosphere. Staff could not have been better. Super nice and attentive. Can't wait to go back!!

We always like to try new places and were taking a Sunday ride - saw Amore and decided to go in - Best decision! This is a diamond in the rough- try Italian cooking - the ladies there are so sweet and attentive - the food is amazing!! Those buttery garlicky rolls!! We got the tour of Italy and lasagna- best we’ve ever had - we Live closer to Clinton and found out another place we’ve been wanting to try in Clinton - Romas- is run by the same family - can’t wait to go there!

I've not written a review in a long time but let me keep it to the point. This is a hidden gem in the world of Italian restaurants! Food is superior and the atmosphere is a homey, welcoming vibe, not uncomfortably fancy. **SARAH is the best server in Mississippi ** Homemade bread is on the house and it is the bread I've ever had. You are treated like family and many patrons are called by name which let's you know they are regulars. Trust me, it is that good!
